Ahmad Amer is an accomplished engineering professional specializing in aerospace engineering, nanotechnology, and materials science. Currently serving as a Probabilistic Design Research Engineer at GE Research, Ahmad develops advanced methodologies to enhance system reliability and efficiency, with expertise in structural health monitoring and statistical modeling.

With over a decade of experience in both academic and industrial settings, Ahmad has led groundbreaking research projects, including the development of probabilistic platforms for rotorcraft systems and defect engineering in nanostructured electrodes. His academic background includes a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master’s in Nanotechnology from The American University in Cairo, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical and Structural Engineering from Ain Shams University.
